Hume Industries (M) Bhd. was involved in a design and build contract (awarded by the Ministry of Education) for the construction of 100 units of
Teachers Quarters located at Bandar Sri Permaisuri in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. With a short construction period (12 months together with C.F
approval), Hume chose to adopt a precast system (precast: half slabs, wall panels and staircases)to ensure quality and timely completion of the project.
The system has enabled us to have a cleaner site with minimal formwork, fewer workers on site, more consistent quality of works and the comfort of a
shorter construction period.
