Hume B.G. Slabs consists of concrete grids with soil chambers. Grass is grown in the soil chambers so that a full established turf slab area has the appearance of a lawn.

With the current JPS guidelines showing a tendency towards minimizing storm water runoff through infiltration into the ground, B.G. Slabs prove to be an appropriate alternative to fully paved or concreted parking areas and road shoulders.  This enables not only an increased pervious area (and more aesthetic appearance) but also hardens soft and sandy soil to prevent bog-downs due to heavy vehicular loading.
