JOINTS
The hinge connection between the arch and foundation is formed by using a pocket keyway which allows for ease of construction and adjustments on site. The precast units are placed butting each other with a nominal 10mm - 20mm gap between each unit depending on type and span of arch profile used. Depending on the design requirements the joints between the arches can be sealed in various ways with sealant and backer rod, flexible mastic, or mortar and covered with filter fabrics.
SPANDREL WALLS
Precast spandrel walls are also available and can be customized to suit project requirements.
